Rio Beaded Dog Collar

Rio was found inside a building compound in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. 

One fine day, his parents read an adoption post on Facebook and decided to go see him. It was love at first sight!! From Jogeshwari, he moved to a cosy little house in Bandra, where he was pampered and lived the good life.

But his adventure was not yet over. His dad moved to Singapore for further studies and his mom was planning to move back to Gurgaon. So Rio moved with his mom.

For a year his life was set and he got comfortable in his new environment, but it was time to move again. This time to Munich! Mom and Dad got married and moved Rio with them to Germany.

After a few years of marital bliss, Rio’s next stop was London, where he now resides.

From the streets of Jogeshwari to the parks in London, this collar is named after Rio, the globe-trotting dog.

These handcrafted dog collars have been inspired by the beadwork tribal art of Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. 

The designs are inspired by tribal art. The tribal women in this part of Central-West India can be seen adorning these colourful pieces of jewellery made by hand.
